Inner Sanctum

AlterEgoMexicana Studio

I really don’t like taking a phone out here.  This is MY space, MY time to putter with whatever suits my fancy at a particular moment.  No interruptions – at least not until I’m pulled away for something to fill my growling belly.  Nothing but boisterous melodies and the endless, overflowing buckets and shelves teaming with unrealized potential.  I set aside intellect and logic as I walk through the door and get into the proverbial flow, creating ever-expanding clutter that doesn’t need to be dealt with…until it absolutely does.  The walls are covered with reminders of countless adventures and loved ones, collections, and and what, for me, is funky,  inspirational, cool stuff.

I need continual nourishment from this magical space…working with my hands, getting righteously dirty, connecting with a deep and tranquil place inside to create something new out of something old.

The name of this place is Sanity.
