Ruby Lou Tuesday

Some of my (sorely mistaken) friends tell me that I need a new car.

I own a 1996 Toyota Rav4, which I bought in 1998 with a mere 33,000 miles on her.  She’s been paid off for many years and, other than regular maintenance, she’s been an absolute dream as I’ve driven her an additional 100,000 miles.  She sports a stick shift – which I prefer – but also came with some nice extras.  Sure, she  has a few idiosyncrasies, but don’t we all?

Why would I need a new car?  She’s been an absolute blessing for which I rejoice daily!

I mention her today because her name is Ruby Lou…and it’s Tuesday!

  1. Hey Dawn, that looks like a great car. You don’t need to replace it if it has been good to you. They say old is good and I do believe that, tee hee. ahem. lol. Of course I’m speaking for myself.:) By the way, my car is a 91 Toyota Corolla and is a joy to me. Easy to drive and pleasing to the eye, plus my husband is a Master Diagnostics Technician at Toyota so he keeps my car running well. I should thank him, huh? hehehee Have a great day and don’t get another car, another bill, higher insurance, you name it. I’m sure you don’t want that. Bye now.
