Ruby Tuesday Studio

I’m totally wiped out after working a 10 hour day in preparation for my trip to Santa Fe next week…

still, my barn-red studio inspires me,
as do and the flowers lining the steps
as the Virgin of Guadalupe watches over me.

Red, in all its forms, is magical, no?

  4. Hi Dawn. Hope you rested a little with fun in your studio. I love the barn-red studio color and oh please let me know where I can get the curtain of the Virgin. I see that lyle baxter saw a Frida curtain and I sure would like one of those too. Did you do Ruby Tuesday?? I posted mine yesterday. I love doing Ruby Tuesday and What’s on your workdesk Wednesday-WOYWW. Any way love your studio. I think I’ll paint the outside of mine barn-red too. I like to copy cat, tee hee. As for the bees, that’s a great thought. That is the honey bees merge with the African bees, they could very well be “tamed” so to speak. That’s a thought for honey. hehehehe. Take care. I’m acting goofy today, it’s hot.

  5. What a pretty picture. It’s good to see your smiling face, Dawn, and you do look very happy—a kind of happy-tired-good! Blessings, xoO

  6. Red steps, red flowers, and the Virgin surrounded by red–what could be finer?

    PRAISE FOR RED

What is there about the color red
That makes me want to stand on my head,
And give a loud shout or two of praise
For crimson tints that brighten my days?
