Gastronomical Paradise

The Todos Santos Candy Store in Santa Fe looked, felt, and smelled like we were actually in Mexico!
But, darn it…no pictures were allowed inside.

The Range Cafe in Bernalillo had incredible food – between us, we sampled shrimp tacos, beet salad, gourmet mac and cheese, huevos rancheros, and a cinnamon roll – all excellent!

And check out the unbelievable satisfaction that was had after eating the best red mole in the entire world at Los Potrillos in Santa Fe…accompanied by a frosty cervesa, of course!

Whether it was the magnificent food at La Posada in Winslow,

or the delicious homemade Mexican food at a mom and pop restaurant in Gallup, New Mexico…
we blessed every calorie and adored every incredible bite!

I think I’m ruined forever.

  1. Oh Dawn, what a wonderul time you all had. I could taste the food and drink the beer. Every photo only makes me want to go to Santa Fe even more. I keep talking to my husband about it and hopefully one of these days he’ll want to visit there and enjoy all there is to enjoy there. Thanks so much for sharing your bliss and now I’m totally ruined forever. Tee hee. Have a wonderful weekend. Salud!!

  6. Too bad you couldn’t take pictures of the luscious smells wafting outside the Todos Santos Candy Store!

  7. Man, I know how good that food is. I didn’t see any green chile in that mix and that is my absolute favorite. There isn’t a trip to Santa Fe without a huge topping of green chile on whatever I am eating and I always take some home as well. there is nothing like it anywhere in the universe. It looks like you had a fabulous time!!

  8. Perfect way to road trip…eating great all along the way!
