  1. Very nice harvest Dawn. Isn’t it fun picking your own veggies. I love it. I picked a ton of chili’s today. Lots of varieties. The travelling time I do isn’t every day. It’s about 3 days a week. My mom lives in SJ and I’m in Modesto so I try to get over there to help her as much I can. Have a great weekend. Take care.

  2. I see a very nice slightly steamed vegetable medly here, along with a wonderful haiku reminding us that the harvest of our efforts is in our midst. Enjoy the good food and have a great day.

  3. Wonderful!!! Really wonderful!

  4. It’s late in the afternoon in the Netherlands, and your haiku as well as the photo make my stomach rumble… ha, time to prepare dinner!

  5. love from the garden! beautiful dawn. we listened to a great interview with alice waters as we worked in the garden this weekend. such a strong voice for kitchen gardens and farmers markets, eating simply and seasonally. i could not agree more. is there anything more satisfying that picking armfuls of bright still sun warm vegetables and heading straight to the kitchen to whip up a delicious repast? the joy only greater when shared.

  6. looks delicious 🙂 enjoy your bounty, friend! a supper calls, I think!
