Post Studio Tour
I spent last Friday – Sunday doing the Mountain Artists’ Guild Studio Tour in Prescott, Arizona.
I joined up with 2 other artists at a friend’s studio.
All in all, we figured that about 150 people came by. The weather was pleasant, save the deluge late Saturday afternoon, and the proceeds were a solid OK.
There was a wonderful reprieve on Sunday afternoon when music friends decided to play some tunes on the back porch!
I don’t mean to whine, but I’m always flabergasted at how much work goes into doing a show and how tired I get with the push to have “enough” work done, the set-up away from home, being “on” all day for 3 days, and then taking down and carting everything back home.
I was so wiped out on Friday night that I announced to my husband that we were having cereal for dinner and I commenced to being a couch potato for the duration.
Today I woke up, relieved that I finally didn’t need to rush into my studio and and get to work, as I have for most of the summer.
Mr. EÂ and I are off to New Mexico in a couple of days for a bonafide vacation.

To say you are prolific is an understatement. I just love your stuff and I can only imagine how much work it is to prepare for a show not in your own studio. Enjoy your NM vacation with your very handsome hubby.
Glad the proceeds good and sorry you were so tired. Now it’s vacation time and I hope you enjoy yourself and do all the things you want to do. Take and have a great time.
