The Bazaar Bizarre

Recently, Mr. E and I went to visit his family in Palo Alto, California.  We were given Cirque du Soleil tickets as an early Christmas present,

so we took the CalTrain into San Francisco and went to the show.  Words don’t describe the awe I felt watching all those talented athletes entertaining us!

After the show, we met up with other family members. While the guys went to walk over the Golden Gate Bridge, while the girls hoofed it over to Bazaar Bizarre, an independent arts and crafts festival.

It  was huge, yet

the very first booth I came to was my favorite:  Mi Vida Creations, whose  motto is
“All things dead and cute!”
I’d seen their work I’d seen many times on Etsy, and let me tell you, those gals had it going on!

I bought this darling skull pillow, and drooled over lots of their other whimsical items, such as skull banners, handmade animal skull wall hangings, skull “flowers,” and more.

We topped off the night with Peruvian food and the trip home on the train.
A magically wonderful day in Paradise, it was!

  8. Now your whole outing (and vacation to Palo Alto, for that matter) sounds wondrous. I love Cirque and the bizarre bazaar is certainly somewhere I would want to go. And then to find the booth you did and buy that perfect skull pillow, is frosting on the cake. And a train ride to boot. What a great way to start the holidays.
