Virgin de Lunas

Here we find the Virgin of Guadalupe residing on a wall at Casa Color, the same magnificent home of Anado and Richard near San Miguel de Allende that I mentioned in yesterday’s post.

Casa Color now includes at least 3 other dwellings in addition to the main house.

There are two galleries

and the long awaited outdoor bath house.

This is not to mention the snake banister,

the rescued burros,

or the patio filled with giant mosaics, gardens, and a fountain.

Oh, but we still need to go inside…
OR
you might consider joining Rebecca for a trip to San Miguel to see this awesome spectacle for yourself.

Rebecca leads the most incredible and life- altering adventures I’ve ever experienced, and I’m delighted to be going yet again for Easter 2013.  Mexico at Easter time is my personal favorite…with glorious altars set up for Mary, Good Friday (and many other) processions, Palm Sunday at Atontonilco, the visiting of seven churches for good luck, the bringing out of the very special ancient statues, the life-sized, handcarved angels in their own procession, the burning of the Judas’, a local art show at the Instituto, great food and shopping, our gorgeous Hotel Carmen right downtown, Easter itself…all in a safe and joyous environment.

It’s
in the works right now…
