What a Year!
This has been quite a year for art…
starting in January,
when I put 35 pieces in the Arabian Horse Show with a friend
and also got the call about doing a show at the Raven Cafe in May.
Then I did the Girl’s Incorporated Show In Santa Fe with my friend Leia in August,
and sold at the Home on the Range Gift Shop at the Range Cafe in Bernalillo on the way home.
Yesterday I stocked up the Newman Gallery in Prescott, where I’ve had my work since 2008,
and on Thursday I have a big load going to La Posada in Winslow.
At the end of October I’m doing a three-day Big brothers-Big Sister’s Show in Tucson with my dear friend, Sallie,
and not to forget the 20th annual Fine Arts and Crafts Show at my friend Von’s in early November!
I love having shows to look forward to…and deadlines really work for me…
but this has been unprecedented!
So much for being a part-time artist!
I am glad you have had such a good year! I think it’s only beginning……love your art!
Hi Dawn. How awesome for you! I’m happy for you and it’s well deserved, you work so hard. Your work is awesome. I love your work and each time I see your piece hanging outside my studio, I’m reminded of how you put your soul into it. Congratulations.:) Gloria.
