High-Low’s Still with Us!

I read on a blog this week that high-low skirts and dresses aren’t “in” any longer.
Well, I beg to differ!

My favorite brand is Free People and I’m still seeing them (and lots of other companies) offering up that high-low silhouette like mad.

I recently purchased this gorgeous mint green FP dress @ Hop Sing Trading Company, and I absolutely adore it!

We all know that at this age – ours as well as the universe’s - people can wear whatever they please, anyway…

…and with tons of wild and crazy turquoise accessories, too!

  1. Never mind the ins or outs of the dress – look at all that fabulous jewellery!
Actually the dress is lovely, and I must say the high-low style looks really good over jeans. xxxx

  2. I really like the high-low over jeans like you’ve done here – very cool! Stunning with your jewelry too. Thanks for linking up to Visible Monday.

  3. People are silly — high/low hemlines are probably at their peak right now. They’re everywhere. Yeah, if you wanna be a fashion snob and not wear what everyone else is, I guess you should move on, but I don’t believe in that attitude! Wear what you like as long as you like it!

  4. That green looks great with denim! And I love all your jewelry. About the high-lows, you should go look at Spy Girl’s recent post showing models from an ASOS fashion shoot, and they were all wearing high-lows. I bet they’ll be popular through the summer, but maybe not so much when the weather changes. Thus speaks the non-maven!

  5. Thank you, thank you, thank you for reminding all of us that YES, we can wear whatever we want, besides are we not the ones making and determining what’s in and what’s out? I just purchased another (new high/low dress) so I think you’re good. Love the mint but I am mostly in awe at your incredible jewelry.

  6. It’s a really cute dress. Love the turquoise.

  7. Thank you for helping make that clear! I love them too, and you look cute as a bug in yours. So many ways to wear this little dress … and love it with your turquoise!
