Wedding Bells

This weekend my step-son got married,
so, of course, I needed to find some appropriate outfits for the occasion(s).

We had the shower at our house on Thursday,

Free People Fiesta Dress
Free People Linen Moto Jacket
White Mountain beaded Sandals

and since this cute little dress never made the cut for my art opening last May, it was the perfect choice.

Friday brought the rehearsal dinner,

Love and Liberty Silk Tunic
Intro Black Capris
Amalfi Sandals

so I got a little more dressed up…

and for the big event

Love and Liberty Embroidered Silk Top
Venus Tank Dress
Stuart Weitzman Platform Sandals

I chose this.

But the bride and groom were obviously the highlight of cutting edge fashion, as you can see.  Andrea re-fashioned her grandmother’s 1945 wedding dress in a most unique and delicious way, and Scott wore a long sleeveless trench with lots of other fun embellishments.

Such a cute little couple, no?
I should be so lucky as to get some fashion inspiration from them!

  1. I am in awe of the bride and groom! I don’t expect to see such alternative style applied to wedding clothes, but I just love the blend of traditional and individual!

You, of course, have so many pretty flowy things to wear. You always look great!

  2. What a happy couple, and I love what they wore. That’s my favourite train ever and the sleeveless trench is brilliant.
Of course you look gorgeous in your wispy embroidered silk top. Looks like a joyful event with good weather.
